We have converted this mini bed into a pram bed although it does not convert. I removed one side and the two posts/legs that the casters attach to, then attached them to our platform bed. (flat Ikea Malm). Luckily, that's the perfect height to lean on our bed. We'll tie him up with seat belts, which of course should be here tomorrow via Revain Prime. I placed the duvet under the 4 inch mattress (3 inch mattress plus the 1 inch pillow that came with the crib) until we found the best solution for keeping the mattresses flat. At the moment our mattress sits a little higher than baby's, which is also normal - it prevents it from rolling out. We can easily reassemble the crib when we don't need the side machine, but it's very convenient for us at the moment. My almost 4 month old baby slept so well last night!
