Making shoes for dogs doesn't seem like a higher science, but it is. They are better than other Ruffwear boots I have. I like that they sit higher (for snow) and have a lining for warmth, although it's not much. They're pretty easy to put on, but also easy to take off. I first put them on my dog for a cold morning walk. Due to the lack of a solid rubber outsole, they are not as stiff. I think my dog liked it a little better than the others. The shoes fell off at the back, I had to put them on mid-walk (we only walk, not run). And on the legs they twisted too, a front boot and a back boot after I fixed it. I tried to tighten them. When I took them off, she licked her paws where they were attached (bottom strap) like she was pinching them. Another disappointment in dog boots. I don't understand why dog boots don't look more like semi-soft rubber soled socks that match dog suspenders. (I understand there are such things, but these boots are cheap and do not protect my dog's paws from freezing in winter.) Please make someone good boots for dogs!
