I bought a vacuum pump kit and one of my wine stoppers (original design) broke - I contacted the people at BarVivo and they responded very quickly and helped me solve my problem to solve by sending me a package of refurbished wine corks. They seem to be stronger and more sensitive to the vacuum pump. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to let air in to break the vacuum seal (in the old design you would push down and hear the air whistle out), but I assume you just pull it out?
