After a wash, the size stayed the same. However, this is because the socks are more elastic than regular thick cotton white everyday socks. The description says "additional padding" in some places. It's not like this. The best that can be said is "less thin" in these areas. Don't complain because when you're a size 17 you take what you can get. And so far, while they're thinner and more stretchy than I'm used to (I'd say closer to "hosiery" than socks, but again, no complaints), at least my toes aren't jerking back. If you have big feet and can't seem to find the right socks, then they're fine. (Though I have to say that even if they stay the way they have always been, $10 is a crazy amount for a pair of socks, especially if they're made abroad. Make them here in the US and the price will be more reasonable.
