This is perfect for our downsizing to a tiny retirement home. He is light. The inserts are made of transparent plastic, so we can quickly find the right shoes. It's huge (check out our review in the video clip below) with 26 slots, but it's on the back of the door so it doesn't steal our valuable floor space. Each slot holds a pair of smaller shoes (ballet flats, flip flops, sneakers) or larger shoes (walkers, chunky shoes, heels). Notice in the video how many big and heavy shoes we stock and we had no problems at all with the hooks that we have mentioned in several reviews here. We love the sleek look of this shelf compared to other door shoe racks we've seen while shopping and as our budget has shrunk along with our living space we loved the price too! A great find for everyone, but especially if you're moving into a tight space.
