Looks like it will be a decent antenna. It's a light weight with a thin arrow, but it's also quite small so I hope it holds up. It comes in 2 pieces and creatively attaches with wing nuts with a small o-ring to keep them secure. I think lock washers are a better choice. I put a little thread lock on each screw to ensure they wouldn't come loose and the antenna wouldn't fall apart in a storm. It's not as massive as RCA antennas (made in the USA), but to be honest it costs almost half as much. Overall I think this is a decent antenna for the price. Will update when I have some time. I'll also update the range data, I'm about 70 miles from the cell towers. Now I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. And yes, this is a pure UHF antenna. It covers pretty much all digital channels, but doesn't cover any of the older analog channels below channel 14. Shouldn't be a big problem as the digital channels for 2-13 have been switched to UHF anyway. What I particularly liked was the receiver element with the Type F antenna connector mounted. Nice and clean. Update: Antenna installed and working great. I have it at my cabin about 60 miles from the transmission towers about 10 feet in the air and it works great. Strong confident signals on all channels. Very happy. The next test is to to see how it handles spring storms. Although it's easily worth the money. This is just a UHF antenna.
