I was in charge of recruiting at this firm during my time there. There were many talented people who worked here but they had not figured out how to work together effectively as an organization. The leadership team did little to foster collaboration between departments or across offices within the same city (NYC). It is difficult to recruit top-notch attorneys when you are unable to attract them from other large NYC City Law Firms with whom we compete on compensation packages. This will be hard to overcome if they do not make changes soon. They need more senior partners that understand marketing/recruiting issues so that hiring can improve.
