I found my Holy Grail Mascara with staying power. The pack says it lasts 24 hours, which means my curl-resistant lashes will be in the spotlight for 24 hours, maybe longer if I don't wash them off. They stay rolled up for many hours. This is exactly what I expect from a mascara. I bought this after reading reviews from disappointed customers that this product did not rinse off. Waterproof mascara is the secret to straight Asian lashes (I learned this from sales clerk Shu Uemura at Barneys New York in the early 2000s). And the mascara is easily removed with an oily cleanser by rubbing/massaging the oil into my dry lashes. After that, it is perfectly washed off with water. Using a water-based cleanser will simply shift the mascara into a smoky, messy residue all over the eye area. I also appreciate the smooth, lash-boosting formula. I work quickly, sweeping the applicator brush over the lashes and they grow and lengthen, which I really like.
