These lights require more detailed instructions. Even if you have more than 13V, the light will fluctuate. I thought I burned the kit trying to hook it up to the trailer headlights in my diesel jeep, but after hooking them up to a different 12v battery everything worked fine. I installed the first set in the headlights of my truck. I only wish they had the best instructions and glue. Could be a great 5 star product if there was more information on operating voltages, universal wiring diagrams and maybe turning the lights on because they are brightest on the side with the adhesive
