Review on NOMATIC Travel Pack - 30L Black Water-Resistant Anti-Theft Carry-On Laptop Bag & Backpack: Flight-Approved Design by Alvis Minchenko

The Nomatic scratches for me, but I really like it.

A review of the Nomatic and North Face refractors. I bought both and ended up sending North Face back, but not without hesitation. Comparison below quality - undoubtedly the north face. The material was thicker, stronger and the zippers were stronger. The Nomatic is a good bag, would easily give it 5 stars if it was in the $200 range. The zippers on the Nomatic close well. Function - for each day I give to Nomatic. The backpack is quite compact, but can be expanded up to 30 liters. Able to carry clothes for 2-3 days and has space for work papers, notebooks, binders, etc. North side, was nice but a bit bulkier to pack a diverse group for business and pleasure. It is higher rather than wider and has significantly fewer pockets and compartments. In fairness it is marked as a garment. However, on a 3 day business trip it still fit in well, although the bag bulged a lot. Cool - Nomatic magnetic side pockets for betting bottles. Compression bag included North Face - looks cooler. Efficient laptop bag which I preferred. Dumm - Nomatic - hard case for sunglasses. Takes up too much space even in the top pocket. I find pockets or pouches for this in the soft case (also included) North Face - deep vertical zip pocket 1/4 down top. The front tablet pocket is too narrow to comfortably fit the Surface Pro. Lower quick access pocket. Somehow I can't find anything suitable. Conclusion: In my opinion, the North Face bag is better. However, the functionality of Nomatic is pretty smart and I ended up paying a premium to keep the bag and declare it my winner.
