The only issue I had was not knowing how sealed the tamper proof feature of the device is as I have never used this type of outlet before. Be sure to match the polarity of the item to be connected and insert the connector firmly. Ideal for families with young children, you don't have to worry about where to place the earbuds you would buy to cover a traditional outlet.
