Same old story. You get what you pay for. Positive Notes: They are thin or flat so very easy to install. This allows you to leave a slightly longer wire, resulting in a quicker and easier installation. The price is fantastic. However, they are not of very good quality. Half of them broke when we first tried to connect something. You have to use some force the first time you plug it in, and sometimes that lines things up correctly, and sometimes it breaks the innards.

Appears to be of good quality. Easy to install as a replacement for household electrical outlets. The only issue I had was not knowing how sealed the tamper proof feature of the device is as I have never used this type of outlet before. Be sure to match the polarity of the item to be connected and insert the connector firmly. Ideal for families with young children, you don't have to worry about where to place the earbuds you would buy to cover a traditional outlet.

sockets are currently working fine. The tamper protection really works! Fast makes connecting devices a little tedious. The reason they don't get a 5 star rating is the cheap tiny screws they send to attach the bezel. They couldn't spend a few more cents and give you a half inch screw to make things easier. They'll give you something that appears to be barely 1/4 inch long, so catching it can be a challenge. I put 25 of these in my house to prepare for a baby.

Maxxima sockets with burglary protection are normal for their price. I keep my house in line with current new building codes as much as possible, so I replace outlets with tamper-resistant variants. In addition, the house was already 50 years old, so the original sockets (old round almond-shaped ones) had to be replaced.
