As with all these "cheap" products, they skimp a bit on instructions (typical for this type of attachment). You get a few diagrams and minimal text, and what is written there is vague and sometimes useless. It's not that it's hard to understand, but if you're not using the full length of the chord (droop) it would be nice to have a few pointers. how to deal with excess Note: I ended up wrapping them in the wooden base and taped them in place to make sure they didn't get in the way of the installation (fixing the base to the ceiling). You'll also need an extra pair of hands while connecting the cables, but that's the case with many devices. One thing I would like is a little more flexible chords. Because they're so thick, they don't hang perfectly vertically. not terrible, but, you know, could be a little bit better. I hope that the weight and heat will "smooth" them out over time.
