Good Quality at an Affordable Price

The case is pretty sturdy and protects the items inside unless you're sitting on it or running over it! Under normal transportation, it should protect things well. Had it been checked in with the airline as baggage, it probably wouldn't have survived. It's not as durable as the $300 Pelican case, but it's strong enough to carry items in the trunk of a car. The foam peels off easily and has 3 layers of foam plus a thinner layer of foam. Top and bottom of the case so you can pull the figure out of all 3 layers of foam and still have top and bottom protection although not very thick top and bottom protection but still protection as in some cases these foam layers don't exist and this case does. The foam has a cheap feel, feels firm and a bit stiff, feels more like foam that degrades over time than the soft, stretchy foam used in expensive shell cases, but for the price it works Great. Keep in mind that this case is less than 20% the cost of one of the more expensive hard cases. It costs money. I use it to protect an electronic scanner that costs about $400. I wouldn't use it on a $4,000 scanner, but for a $400 scanner it's a good choice. Also a small issue but the molded carry handle has rough stitching due to the injection molding process. I had to use a Dremel tool and a fine file to smooth the underside of the handle that comes in contact with the inside of your fingers when carrying the case as the stitching on the handle makes it uncomfortable to carry. It's okay, but the case isn't as comfortable and polished as the more expensive ones, but then again, it doesn't stand alone! For the price this is a very good product.

Pros
  • Perforated squares of foam easily pull out to conform to any product shape.
Cons
  • Not bad
