I used to have an iPad keyboard and case. I liked both, but the keyboard on the iPad didn't fit into the case and couldn't be closed. So I wanted a folio, not an iPad, and a separate keyboard floating in my backpack. It's very hard to find a folio that only has room for a keyboard without a board. Shit I have one and I really wanted it for a roomy suitcase. I chose this one based on the price, the looks and the Apple Pencil holder with charging adapter mount as well as the trackpad which if it turns out to be useless I might just not use it or use a different one that isn't as nice as the other Arteck Brand Keyboard I was talking about which was also very cheap. Using a mouse on an iPad feels very unusual and feels like you are using a device with a feature designed to help people with disabilities navigate their situation more easily. What exactly are you doing. So the mouse is fine, it has a lot more functionality when paired with a Windows or Android device, and all the packaging material is designed to be used with them. Doesn't even mention iAnything. The keyboard has a "For IOS" key, meaning FN+ and it works a bit better, less wobbly. I will most likely use the trackpad once I have more experience with it. I haven't used anything in a long time except a mouse and keyboard and only one touch device. No laptop. So maybe I'll get better. I just wanted something where I didn't have to lean forward to scroll. I can scroll with two fingers and it's comfortable, it's just not very comfortable or fluid. Oh. For the price I would recommend. It annoys me that you can't get a backlit trackpad, one or the other. My other keyboard was backlit and I really liked it. So it has its pros and cons, but apart from the keyboard (a second reason I even bought it) the case is very nice and looks elegant in my opinion. It is suitable for keyboard, pencil and dual pencil slot adapters as well as iPad. It's all in a handy carry case and I'm very happy with the purchase. 2 stars for ease of use. This can't be due to the actual hardware, so I don't blame the seller TOO much, the iPad just isn't designed to be used with a mouse, but it's neither easy nor intuitive. Maybe a better mouse would be smoother, but this one sucks. I don't know, I haven't used the others. Sometimes it gets stuck on typing, so you keep turning it on and off (trackpad only, not keyboard, there's a button for it), making it obsolete. But that's a minor inconvenience.
