Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ GSI Outdoors - Glacier Stainless Steel Camping & Backpacking Kettle - 1 Quart by Steve Walton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I recommend this when making the kettle

The lid of the kettle has a lot of play. I eliminated the play by making three small dents on the lid's skirt and punching them around the perimeter. Now the lid no longer hangs out and stays locked. I recommend doing this if you're making a teapot. A standard 230 gram Covea bottle with a height of approx. 2.5-3 mm does not fit in the kettle. If the manufacturer makes the kettle 3 mm higher, then the standard 230 gr. the cylinder fits into the kettle - this is normal. Only 3 mm, and what a result! Despite this I am happy with the purchase, my kettle was beginning to like it better than the Kulen version.--I would be grateful if my comments were forwarded to the manufacturer of the GSI kettle.
