They were better than expected for my daughter's Lego range. I love that you can remove the inserts to increase the space. However, I would like to point out that you cannot make the columns wider. If you look at any of the pictures I've added, you just can't assemble a 6x6 piece. But it's definitely great for sorting smaller parts. The plastic isn't very thick, but it holds up. When you close the lid and shake the box, the pieces stay in their individual compartments and don't get mixed up. And even though there's a tiny hole in the bottom corner of each compartment, none of the small pieces slip into the next.
