Real leather. Covers the entire bunch of keys. What didn't really interest me was the locking pin with the clip. Others use a screw pin to make it more streamlined. But that's just picky. I had 2 times when I lost the connection from the key fob to the car. The fob was in my pocket. Comfort access could not be used, and the second time the key fob had to be placed next to the steering column for communication. I don't know if the thickness of the coating matters. Since then it has not been reproduced. The car and key fob are only 2 months old.
