Review on TPI Hand Bike Pump: Schrader and Presta Compatibility, Anti-Slip Foot Pad, High-Pressure Hose Options - Choose Yours for Durability and Performance by Kenji Townsend

Decided to keep - Sport

Didn't know the pipe size was 29mm (it says in the description but it's not obvious). A smaller tube will inflate more slowly, but it's easier to get high pressure in it. I wanted to come back and take it with a 32-34mm tube. Pumps in this size already exist, but I need another one for a kid going to college. So. did this and noticed that the replacement was short, only about 24.5 inches tall. This pump is approximately 26.75 inches tall. Higher usually means more air per revolution. So they returned the other one and I will keep this one for myself. If you research more it seems like a good deal. Other similar looking small peristaltic pumps from Pumpico (B07T57NVDD) and Intey (B07F2Z2V7W) are more expensive and also only 24.5 inches tall. And this TPI has a metal base and grip like the Intey. The Intey valve is more comfortable than the convertible valves on the TPI/Pumpico. The large diameter convertible head is a little clunky, but that's a minor thing, it still works.

Pros
  • For Schrader and Presta valves, easy to use design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
