I use the pants both for sleeping and for training. All of these types of pants claim that you can wear both, but there's a delicate balance between being flexible enough to work out and light enough to sleep in. The % Spandex makes these pants light enough to sleep in. They're not as warm as all cotton pants, but that's okay because I still get hot when I sleep.
