I bought this product after seeing some commercials for the Maxiglide large straighteners which were advertised as leaving hair soft and shiny. I have short hair so when I saw the travel size option I jumped at it. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that there is no Steam option. I used it once, it fried my hair and caused a little breakage which left me with something other than softness and shine. I am extremely disappointed. I will no longer use it.
