Bags, Cases & Cases Features

I do a lot of data entry on my iPad so I need a reliable keyboard. I prefer to have my keyboard and iPad in the same "container" for convenience. This keyboard and case combination has its own characteristics that make it far from ideal. The rotation function of the iPad is great. I use it with my granddaughter because some of her games require portrait mode instead of landscape mode. The rotation allows her to use the keyboard without turning her head or arms to the side. The keyboard works well, except that the included keyboard protector sometimes causes the keys to become unresponsive. The "Delete" key does not work as expected because it is a delete key and not a regular "Enter and Delete" key. The delete button actually has a long arrow pointing to the left. Previous cases from other manufacturers failed because they quickly lost control of the iPad. The iPad fell out of the case when the case was opened or if the case was accidentally turned upside down when opening. This case and keyboard fail because the keyboard falls out of the case. The keyboard should be attached to the open case with magnets. This works great when the keyboard is in the closed position near the iPad, but this arrangement does not allow using the easel portion of the case to place the iPad in the viewing position. When the keyboard is positioned for the easel to work, the magnets no longer hold the keyboard firmly enough to ensure a secure fit when the case, keyboard, and iPad are opened. In general, the keyboard and case are usable, but you need to be extra careful when moving the case, keyboard, and iPad while they're active.
