I endured a huge mess in the deep center console of my 2011 4Runner for ten years without even knowing it existed. I just upgraded to the 2021 TRD Off Road Venture and came across this accessory while looking for something different. This divider and tray set is fantastic and goes perfectly with my 4Runner. My wife laughs at me because I was in awe of those four pieces of plastic. The divider and tray really help to make the most of the space in the 4Runner's huge center console without sacrificing storage. Other reviews indicate that it doesn't match their 5th Gen 4Runner, but that sounds odd since the center console space on my 2011 SR5 4Runner was the same as my 2021 TRD Off Road Venture. Two things: 1. Make sure the divider pieces are fully aligned. It's a snug fit and you have to press hard to fully connect them. 2. You will need to remove the small factory spacer plate that was originally on the center console. You no longer need the factory separator. This separator takes its place. Once the divider is in place, place the tray on top of everything there. The tray is great - two separate spaces that easily fit sunglasses and more. This is especially nice for me now that my old 2011 SR5 4Runner had a fold-down sunglass compartment next to the map light/cabin light, but the 2021 TRD Off Road Venture has crawl controls and terrain select buttons where the sunglass compartment was. SR5 2011. Now I have a great place to store my sunglasses. If you have a 5th Gen 4Runner, you need these simple but great storage options.
