I'm 6'1" and these looked at least an inch shorter to me. Probably it would be possible to reduce the size around the circumference, but I wanted the length (the size is accurate). BUT they held and didn't fall off, so were they really too short? Fur. I went through a steep drop of 1500 feet in less than 1.5 miles over rocks, snow, leaves, mud and then came back and it held. I was concerned about the heel loop but that's ok. I bought them mainly for protection from poison oak and shrubs, and also because I never wear boots when hiking. Tossed them in the wash and still looks good. Totally worth the money if REI stocks the $80 leggings (thanks Revane!).
