It is great! - Gaiters

I bought these for my wife and would like a pair. I like them a lot more than mine. They appear to be of a slightly higher quality even though they were a lot cheaper. There are cutouts for a better fit on the boot and the top closure is a bungee with a lock which is much easier to use than straps and buckles. I might order another pair for myself.

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great for the price but don't expect them to last long

I bought them in the middle of Minnesota pheasant season. They fit very well and did their job. By the end of the season, the thread holding the velcro had worn out and the velcro straps were worn out. The impregnation is also worn out. They are great for occasional use. However, don't expect them to withstand heavy use. You can't complain about the price.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I'll write back

Alaska Trip: Gaiters

Didn't know if I would need gaiters for my Alaska hike so didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I might not have needed. I found these and they were perfect. I had to use them a few times and they worked fine. They seem to do what I needed them for, but I haven't used them that much. Can't speak to durability, but I had them when I needed them and that was important (and I didn't break a piggy bank to be able to afford them).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Uncompromising quality for such a price

I never get anything better than expected but NOT in this case! build quality! . Full length velcro closure, lace hooks, adjustable straps under boots, drawstring closure at top, durable fabric with tear protection. Consider how thick your pants and underwear will be according to the size ordered. Sizing will feel tighter or looser depending on how heavy or light your pants are. Jeans make them feel much tighter around the calf. REAL VALUE

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Aha! And great color

I'm 6'1" and these looked at least an inch shorter to me. Probably it would be possible to reduce the size around the circumference, but I wanted the length (the size is accurate). BUT they held and didn't fall off, so were they really too short? Fur. I went through a steep drop of 1500 feet in less than 1.5 miles over rocks, snow, leaves, mud and then came back and it held. I was concerned about the heel loop but that's ok. I bought them mainly for protection from poison oak and shrubs, andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Aha! And great color

I'm 6ft tall and these looked at least 1 inch shorter to me. It would probably be possible to reduce the size around the girth, but I'd like the length (it's true to size).
