I'm 6ft tall and these looked at least 1 inch shorter to me. It would probably be possible to reduce the size around the girth, but I'd like the length (it's true to size). BUT they stayed up and didn't fall off, so were they actually too short? Fur. I went through a steep drop of 1500 feet in less than 1.5 miles over rocks, snow, leaves, mud and then came back and it held. I was concerned about the heel loop but it's ok. I got them mainly for protection from poison oaks and shrubs and because I never wear boots when hiking. Tossed them in the wash and they still look good. Totally worth $ if REI stocks $80 leggings (thanks Revane!).
