These are strong and strong carabiners! We use them in the car to tie our dogs' leashes. Our dogs are quite large and this protects them until we can get our hands on their leashes when we get them out of the car.

These 4 inch carabiners have a fair amount of weight which will come in handy for the type of use I'm looking for which is fitting 300+ lbs of rubber to the handlebars. Clip and fit perfectly on the handlebar eyelet.

I'm a small person. After moving the seat forward in the car, I found that the seat belt was way behind me. I used a carabiner on the headrest post and threaded the seat belt through the carabiner. This means that the seat belt is always just above the left shoulder. This works for me and I'm glad I found the right size at 4 inches. 3 inches is too small, 5 inches is too big.
