Doesn't quite work like a compressed air can. You don't get that initial, intense burst of air. But it creates a powerful blast of air for cleaning, just like compressed air. It remains stable, unlike canned air. And you can put it upside down or use it at a weird angle, and you don't have to worry about liquid leaking. It's a bit noisy, but not bad. About as much as a tiny hair dryer. I think it works very well. I use compressed air canisters daily to remove pet hair from areas that are difficult to vacuum or sweep. Besides that, I don't throw the jars away all the time.
