About two months ago our cat, Pop, was diagnosed with kidney failure. We just lost our cat Pepe to the same thing. So it was hard to hear. But we found this food and he had two great months! Almost back to his normal self! Of course, things couldn't go on like this because he suffered from kidney failure at an early age. But it gave him his quality of life back and allowed us to say goodbye. We now take it for all of our older cats as a preventive measure. He has a problem. It doesn't have a strong smell. We have an older cat that has fairly severe allergies and I have to mix up her regular food to make her eat it. But our other older cats love it. I highly recommend this meal.
