Good at first. Once installed this seems to provide a solid protective barrier for my new iPad mini 5. The touchscreen works without any problems and the installation is well aligned. Next not very good. Only 4 stars because the installation instructions didn't match the product and one of the two screens broke during installation (fortunately I ordered a double pack). The isopropyl alcohol screen cleaner was dry. never mind However, instruction #2 stated that the tongue would push back the back protective layer of the screen. That didn't happen on the first try, the tongue just came off without the backing foil. When trying to remove the protective layer without the pull tab, the screen shattered, leaving a small pile of broken glass on my desk. Assembly instruction #5 also states that the front protective layer must be removed, but there is no such film. However, the second screen worked as described. The back protective layer was easy to remove with a pull tab, and once placed on the device it was sticky and required almost no massage to remove air bubbles. But there is still no "front protective layer". Overall it seems like a good product but you should use common sense to install it rather than following literal instructions. I'm glad I ordered two to have a spare.
