Review on WALI Dual Side Clamping Bookshelf Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket for Large Surrounding Sound Speakers, 55 lb Capacity, Black (SWM201) by Johnny Bloomer

Slim body but very heavy.

I love these speaker wall mounts. Although thin and streamlined in design, they are easy to assemble and very durable; I use them on some of the larger Polk S20 surround back speakers and they hold them up with no issues. They also have pre-drilled speaker wire holes in the bracket so they can be tightened nicely and are less visually obtrusive. One small thing I don't like is that they have small screw holes for the bottom/side support brackets that you have to put directly into the speakers for extra stability, but I can't do that with mine. . Instead, I went with industrial Velcro, which works pretty well - these speakers aren't going anywhere. These brackets come with large wall mounting screws suitable for the task at hand. I would recommend that at least 2 of the 4 screws go directly into the wall joist behind the drywall to ensure they stay upright. The speakers generate a lot of vibration, so you need the strongest possible mount. For other screws that cannot go into the joist, purchase drywall fasteners that weigh at least 75 pounds to ensure security. Because these brackets are fully adjustable up to 11" wide, they can accommodate a variety of bookshelf/surround speakers.
