These duvets don't keep you warm. I've tried insulating a small room on all sides with it, using it as a blanket, using it under me as a sleeping mat, and routing it between blankets and in the coat. Has no heat-reflecting properties. It's just a thin piece of metal and plastic that does nothing but prevent water passage. However, using it to sleep is a surefire way to wake up soaked. The camouflage pattern on the back also has a metallic sheen, making it unusable for camouflage applications. It tears just as easily, if not more easily, than aluminum foil to add icing to a cake. One duvet unfolded is more than enough to cover a double bed. In addition, using this blanket is equivalent to tearing a piece of paper. If you're a light sleeper, you probably won't be able to sleep through the night with it on. You'll still be cold though, because you might as well be sleeping under a piece of saran wrap. This is not a rescue blanket. It's best to use a small waterproof tarp if you can pull it tight without tearing it. Wouldn't buy again but would still recommend to a foe.
