Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great if most of your heels are 4 inches or less.

Let me say the advert is a bit deceptive. Heels are either 2 inches or photographed. Picture. Because it's not that spacious. The maximum heel height you can actually squeeze between the shelves (and I mean COMPRESSION) is 4 inches. Anything above that just won't work. There is about 6 inches or so between each shelf. But don't forget that there is still material on the back of the heel! So 4 inches is really the maximum. If you have sandals you can get a higher heel than the one sandwiched between them, but otherwise 4 inches. I have six pairs of shoes that are 5 to 6.5 inches high and I had to stuff them on the top shelf because they didn't fit on the other shelves. That means six pairs can be squeezed onto the shelf. But it's designed more for five on the shelf. I also have running shoes on the bottom shelf and as they are wider than heels they take up more space and you may have to squeeze them together to fit five people on the shelf. It's the same with flip flops. You can see all of this in my photos. A number of people complained in their reviews about how the plastic cracked and broke during assembly. But I think these people must have just put it together like barbarians or something. Because I had absolutely no problems. There are no cracks at all. When you pick it up, do it firmly but gently. I recommend putting the connectors on the shorter end poles first and then connecting them to the longer poles. This should help reduce hacking problems. (I'm a physicist.) Don't bend anything, especially plastic. When assembling, try to keep everything as even as possible. Otherwise it cracks of course. If you own more than five or six pairs of shoes that are over 4 inches tall, be they heels or men's basketball shoes, this probably isn't for you. To solve this by using medium length bars to make the shelves taller you just need to build fewer shelves or just buy another shoe rack (it might be easier) or maybe you could put bigger shoes diagonally. But you probably don't want to do that. For reference, although I'm not sure how that will help, I'm a US women's size 10.
