I've ordered both the Revain 206 Boyer Pumps and the Sperry Top-Sider Mako Pumps, the latter roughly double the price. So what do you get and what do you give up. The upper Sperry leather is thicker, more textured, stretchier, has a softer tongue and more intricate construction. Model 206 is thinner, stiffer, without textured leather. Sperry offers laces that are about twice as thick and more flexible. I had shoes 11.5 - Sperry fit like a glove, was more comfortable and supportive. Overall you won't be disappointed with the Revain product considering its price, its construction feels solid with leather upper and rubber sole but feels stiff on first wear. For me, the additional price of Sperry is justified.
