Broke down on doll accessories

Was a gift for my granddaughter who has very expensive reborn dolls and is extremely careful with them - was just as careful with this doll. Once I held a doll in my hands and the head literally fell off. Unfortunately, the return window has passed by about 2-1/2 weeks. (We had the doll not quite 7 weeks old) Disappointment because she loves the doll and my niece gave her a huge bag of American Girl Doll clothes and accessories. We bought her this cheaper version as her Re-Born baby dolls are over $300 each, gifts from my aunt so I felt like an expensive hobby toy was enough! Anyway, I know you get what you pay for, but for $40 I wish the parts stayed together.
