I broke the zipper on my v-neck shirt. I repaired a zipper with this product. The product is well made and works perfectly once installed. Note that one of the stoppers at the top of the zip must be removed in order to slide the slider over the zip. Then slide the slider all the way down so you can fit the other side of the zipper into the slider. In my case, this meant I had to remove all of the stitching holding the bottom of the zipper in place; Then move the slider. I then had to re-sew the fabric at the bottom of the zipper to hold it in place. Next I replaced the stopper at the top of the zipper. These sliders are intended to replace exposed zippers such as those found on coats. My V-neckline (which is a closed zip) required more work, but it was worth it. The product is a premium product. You may or may not need to order a stop for the top of the zipper. I was able to reuse my stop.
