Crocs aren't exactly trendy, but I've always found them very comfortable, and Bogota is more like a regular shoe than many other Crocs. I just got my new pair after wearing them for the last couple of years. In fact, I have several pairs of Crocs that are very worn out, so I'm replacing them all. Unfortunately they have changed, and not for the better. There is no consistency in sizes. I've always worn 9 and all the different styles I've worn fit the same. I first ordered a new pair of classic clogs. They were similar in length to the old ones but felt a bit flatter in the arch. I then ordered a pair of Yukon Mesa clogs, but they were too short. I read some reviews online and noticed that some people had to order a size up. I didn't see similar comments for Bogotá so I re-ordered Yukons at 10 and Bogota at 9. The same problem. They are noticeably shorter so I have to return them for a size up, but even the ones I am returning are noticeably wider in the heel area. They have always been spacious, but now they are more suitable for a thick foot. The insole is also now a little flatter and less anatomical, for lack of a better word, and makes it easier for the foot to slide forward. My old ones were very comfortable but due to the more natural shape they were quite active. I could even run and run. The new ones (based on size 10 Yukons) are also comfortable, but it doesn't look like the new shape will be as good for a wide range of activities. This is a big disappointment as Crocs are one of the few shoes that I can wear comfortably for long periods of time (due to a college foot injury). Oh good.
