Review on 🚴 SHIMANO SL-BS77 Dura Ace 9-Speed Bar End Shifters for Double/Triple Configuration by Tommy Penn

Incredible - Parts & Components

Most "advancements" in bicycle parts technology are aimed at the professional road rider, not the serious hobbyist who just enjoys riding the bike. To the untrained eye, these derailleurs may look like a throwback to yesteryear, but they're actually one of the finest products Shimano makes, outperforming most of their current lineup. They're bulletproof, easy to install and adjust, and have a great ratcheting feel that lets you turn the entire gearing to your liking. For most riders looking for a modern mixed, touring or non-racing configuration, the 9 speed configuration is the best choice due to durability, cost and ease of maintenance. These are the best 9 speed shifters on the market in my opinion. You can also put them on Paul Thumbies if you don't want to use them as Barcons. For $100 you get premium quality Dura Ace with 9-speed durability and your choice of index or friction shifting. If you don't race, there's nothing else. Don't worry, because Shimano no longer has a marketing budget for it. They are amazing.
