So before I installed these rocks I was a rockaphobe. I hated rocks, I didn't have confidence when I drove on them at high speed because I was kicked. Of course it was 90% rider. A little more confidence never hurt anyone, though. I definitely feel an increase in traction, suspension and vibration dampening (I used to be my enemy too). Traveled the long-distance route while racing and bombed without hesitation. The rim protection is good too, I heard haha. Installation wise, my buddy installed it a day or two earlier and studied the tips, so we installed both in about 40 minutes. Admittedly, he said mine were a lot lighter than his. Watch the video, use a hammer stretch and lots of soapy water.
