5 star customer service from Lisen! I bought this in March for overseas family calls so I can talk comfortably without balancing my tablet and phone on wobbly pillows or constantly adjusting stacks of books to get the perfect height. The stand was easy to assemble and I was very happy with how it worked. It was beautiful and very stressful. Everything was going well until about a month ago when the stand became loose and unstable. It swayed and swayed from side to side. I tried to fix it according to the instructions (I, like many of you, keep the box for about 6 months just in case...) but the main stand never straightened. It was useless. I contacted the seller with my complaint hoping that he would have an easy solution to advise me. Imagine my surprise when I received a prompt and polite reply! They gave me simple instructions on how to get through the installation steps and when that failed they apologized, actual CONFIRMATION that the item may have been faulty and a willingness to replace the item if that didn't work. I was genuinely stunned, not used to near nonexistent service like the rest of us, let alone this level of respect for customers. I know it's just a small ticket item, but no matter it's $25, $25,000 or $250,000, the principle is the same, right? and works as fast as possible. So here are the pros and cons of this stand: Pros -1. The base is VERY STABLE and reliable. There is an encouraging weight in that.2. Simple instructions. EASY CONSTRUCTION. Gizmo assembly included.3. HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE Easy - Turn the handle on the side and Bob becomes your uncle... 4. Moves smoothly from side to side.5. The side mounts leave no traces on the iPad or iPhone.6. ADJUSTABLE ANGLE. Easy to set up, sitting or standing.7. The stand looks FEATURED and sleek - blends in unobtrusively into any decor. The only downside is that the stand doesn't fold or pack. I can't take it in hand luggage. I have no regrets purchasing this nifty little stand despite my initial poor experience with the product. I'll see if that happens again. Kudos to Lisen for the correct behavior of their customers. It's just good business. For that alone I would buy from them again. Of the many comparable stands available, this one offered the best value for money. Simple assembly and ease of use make it a winner.
