I bought this adapter in order to use smart and watch movies from a computer via dlna for LG 42LM TV. After that, I thought about how to save the 2 remaining ones, for this I connected a usb hub / hub to the TV, but not a simple one, but an active one with a power supply, I specifically have this GINZZU GR-487UAB model, but I think any other will do, but the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that the hub be active with recharge with a power supply included. So I connected it, I stopped using the TV ports, and at the same time I remembered the LG-wi-fi adapter, since the hub already has 7 ports, I thought - let it be connected, it doesn’t interfere anyway. And what was my surprise that when connected through an active hub, the LG adapter simply started to FLY - DLNA, Internet, smart - not a single failure, the speed is like a wire, everything is clear and fast, and even when watching "heavy" films in 1080hd with computer by dlna. In short, the conclusion is this: if you want to overclock this adapter, then connect an active (with a power supply) usb hub to the TV, and this adapter will already work to it as it should. PS: by the way, through an active hub, both screws and flash drives also work faster without failures, apparently the ports of most TVs simply do not provide the necessary recharge, hence the low speed. In general, the adapter is quite normal in itself, the problem is only in its power supply, which is solved for a small price, the hub cost me about 600, at the same time you will save the TV ports.
