Review on 📀 Enhanced Performance: Memorex MVD2022 DVD Player by Mac Sterling

Had the same problems as everyone else. The disc doesn't play, is loud and works when it wants to. I didn't look at any reviews online before purchasing. After I bought it and it didn't work, I looked at the reviews. I know - sometimes I'm a bit slow. I went and bought a new Sony which I really like. I gave this cheap one to my 14 year old son and told him if he fixes it he can have it. He's mechanical - that's how he caught fire. He fixed the smelly thing in 15 minutes! When the thing is packed, very little material gets into the machine. When he opened it, there was a lot of dust and packaging material on the components and in the eye. He carefully cleaned the inside of the machine with a dry rag - reassembled - and for 3 months it has been working like clockwork. Be careful when cleaning this thing and you should have a usable player. I'm still only rating this a 2 because you don't have to diagnose and fix it yourself before playing. Hope that helps.
