Not a bad sound, but definitely room for improvement.
So in terms of sound quality and jumps, this player is pretty good, unlike previous 5-in-1 combos that looked nice but missed more than a kid did jumping over a skipping rope. The actual base looks like chipboard with a poorly applied wooden surface that is already peeling off in one place. If you can get them on sale or at a reduced price then go for it, otherwise I'd recommend checking your music store to see if it matches. one of the old used models that was better quality before you bought this one.
