The size and shape of this bag is perfect and it looks well made. Straps and construction feel solid. Someone mentioned that thin straps bother them, but I think they're fine. There can be pressure points when the bag is full, but as someone who struggles with bag straps that always want to slip off my shoulder, these thinner ones seem to stay in place much better. The center zip pocket is interesting because it sort of floats freely in the pocket. That is, the bottom of the bag is not attached to the bottom of the bag. This has the advantage that the two open compartments on either side of the bag have more flexible dimensions and the small items slider at the bottom of the bag allows you to switch between compartments. Personally, I will transport my tablet (Microsoft Surface 3), laptops and organizer in this bag, so a flexible compartment size is more important to me. But if you plan to use it as a regular bag, the space under the middle bag may drive you crazy. At the moment I'm worried that the reflective triangles might get scratched/rubbed which will spoil the overall look of the bag. They seem to scratch/scratch easily. I plan to use this bag daily for the next few weeks. If this becomes an issue I will update my review accordingly. (And if you haven't heard from me, there probably wasn't a problem.) Some material and color notes: The bag is dark gray with some dark purple and dark green under natural light. The intensity of the violet-green shift increases when exposed to synthetic light sources. However, after taking a few photos both with and without the flash, I noticed that my camera picked up colors far more vividly than my eyes. just like the example "no flash" personally. (Taken under fluorescent lighting in a windowless room.) I personally like this and think the dark purple/green suits my speed better, but it's important to note that if you're totally in love with the brightest examples shown, you may be disappointed.
