Easy assembly, took me 20-30 minutes. To make a cube, each flat piece is snapped together and then reinforced with the hammer provided. It was a little tedious because some came loose with each piece added. We mainly use them to store clothes and we were surprised that they fit into all of my 12 year old's t-shirts, jeans, sweatpants, long sleeve shirts and pajamas! The dice are made of thin plastic, almost like faux leather; They sag a bit when you put something on them, but they still hold a good weight (as you can see, my son put quite a few books on one of the cubes). I am very satisfied with this product. because it is not only easy for my son to tidy up his clothes neatly, but he can really SEE everything, it saves me from rummaging through drawers and losing clothes in the back of the drawer.
