It seems to work, but not great.
My physical therapist recommended one of these to me and I bought it because he didn't tell me a specific brand. It doesn't work as well as the one he had in the office - it had a slight curvature to better match your square shape. This one also catches a bit on your skin and hair as it rolls, so it's literally a pain. I didn't end up using it much, so overall I can't recommend it.
