Ideal for photographing small objects (that's why I bought them). I wanted to make a Clinique style highlight and literally MAKE the softboxes out of cardboard and diffusion plates that I had everywhere. It was such an improvement it's not even funny. Meshes are great for controlling light scattering. They are not too big and not too small. Perfect for my needs.
