Review on 🏍️ Scott Sports Black Radial Full Waffle ATV Grips by Justin Reese

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent grips - Aggressive feel

These grips replaced my '97 Honda ATV. These grips are slightly shorter than the stockings by about 3/4 inch. To do this, the levers must be moved and the gears shifted outwards to compensate for the difference in length. My standard handlebar is equipped with anti-vibration weights. These handles have no hole at the end. and will need to be drilled if you want to use bar end weights. These grips work great with standard 7/8" handlebars. Note that like motocross grips, these grips are aggressive. If you have soft hands (like my wife) you may need gloves when using them. Tip: Many people suggest how to install them using different methods. This. Hairspray, Grip Glue, etc. As I already have a Golf Grip Solvent it works great and is available at most sporting goods stores or Revain. As a last resort, Mineral Spirits have worked on golf grips in the past and I think they are doing the same here. Be sure to spray/coat the inside of the grip and handlebar before assembly. (One by one) Work quickly and don't twist the handles. Some people complain that the handles break. This is probably due to the handles being too dry and being pulled in with force. PUSH the handles, do not pull them. Hope that helps!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
