Review on MCover Without 360 Degree Fitting DL XPS13 9300 Laptop Accessories by Christian Young

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's okay Not perfect

It fits my 9300 perfectly and although it leaves fingerprints/smudges as others have mentioned it's not a problem for me, about 50% of the cooling vents on the bottom are covered. I've seen others comment on this and some have solved this problem by trimming/cutting out some of the excess plastic covering the vents. I am sure it will work. The next problem is that the laptop does not close completely due to the protruding clips that attach the case to the laptop. Others have posted some pictures. It's kind of a nitpick, but it was noticeable. Finally the flaps at the bottom of the case used were interfering to support the back of the laptop. When you use it, the angle of the keyboard is too big / unnatural position, however, when I don't use it Laying parts, the laptop "wobbles" and wants to fall backwards. The flip pieces add about 1/4 inch to the bottom, and the extra weight of the top cap is enough to flip it backwards. It's weird/hard to describe (sorry). In any case, I could experiment and sand down the flip pads/pads on the underside - and cut out the vents. It seems like a lot needs to be done for something new. I still give 3 stars because it fits well and looks good even with smudges and fingerprints. At $20, this is an inexpensive way to protect my laptop. I think because it has a free return policy I would recommend it to others. The above issues may not bother others, so you just have to try it and see if it works for you.
