My top hips are 24 inches and my waist is 40 inches (I have severe scoliosis) Given these measurements, I should definitely consider all the criteria for a 40 inch waist with a hip less than 32 inches meet or waist 40-46 inches and hips 28 inches. If it were actually 73 inches as advertised it could perhaps extend the distance, but it's 71 inches. The instructions make absolutely no sense given the length and lack of elasticity of the material. It definitely doesn't fit true to size and doesn't offer compression even though I left out a thigh wrap to wrap my lower back. Even before I climbed it, the threads started coming out of the material, so I believe others' complaints about durability. It comes back very hard.
